Running a nightly late night show ain’t the easiest job in the world, and filling an hour of TV five nights a week is a tough ask.
But uh, look. Sometimes, you just have a stinker.
The Rock stopped by The Tonight Show on the promotion trail for his latest film ‘Central Intelligence‘ which you will probably watch solely because The Rock is in it.
Teaming up with Jimmy Fallon the pair performed a sketch, in which the two of them are supposed to be teenagers at their prom. But it’s set in 2016. But it’s also somehow set back in time. And also the whole schtick is that when they talk to girls suddenly they can only communicate in “ERMAHGERD” aka the hottest internet meme of 2012.
Look, it’s a weird old time.
It takes a fair bit to make The Rock look lame. That in itself is an achievement and a half.
