We’re more than certain the upcoming IT remake could get by with nought but Bill Skarsgård drooling and staring for 90 minutes, but the film’s latest trailer adds some context to make the whole deal that much creepier.
The fresh peek at Andrés Muschietti’s howler puts the audience in the canvas shoes of The Loser’s Club, that rag-tag bunch of preteen suburbanites wrapped up in all of that malevolent clowning badness.
The footage gives us our first real look at the drains in which Pennywise resides, and, well, the first full-on squiz at his manic grin. You’ll be able to assess it in glorious / horrific detail when the film premieres worldwide on September 8, but until then:
