In the most inane, sure to be ubiquitous pun anticipated to cover every corner The Internet today, the first trailer for Marc Webb’s sequel to The Amazing Spiderman has hit the web. Andrew Garfield reprises the titular role in the high-stakes reboot, opposite the endlessly endearing Emma Stone and sophomoric villains Dane DeHaan and Jamie Foxx as Green Goblin and Electro respectively. It looks like a thrilling adventure in CGI, with a very sequel plot that sees Peter Parker continue to fight web-slinging battles, the most arduous of which is the battle waging within himself.
To be frank though, I’d be just as happy to watch real life boos Garfield and Stone mack on each other for two hours. Kidding!
Not kidding. The Amazing Spiderman 2 also stars Paul Giamatti, Chris Cooper, Felicity Jones and Sally Field and swings into theatres in 3D on April 17th, 2014. ¯_(-_-)_/¯
