Legitimate actors Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese, Dwanye “The Rock” Johnson and Paul Walker reunite in the trailer for Justin Lin’s latest feature length dubstep + explosions delivery system, Fast & Furious 6, the live action video game automotive action franchise which refuses to blow itself up and die.
Also refusing to die is Michelle Rodriguez, who returns as Diesel’s feisty former girlfriend who was thought to be dead but is very much alive (“impossible” he says) and involved with some kind of secret mercenary organisation responsible for terrible things like destroying cities and highjacking military convoys. Instead of, I don’t you know, enlisting the military or the FBI or organisations which contain more than six people and access to planes and classified information and whatnot, The Rock’s Diplomatic Security Service agent enlists VD’s crew to catch the bad guys and in the process earn a full diplomatic pardon for all the bad stuff they’ve done in the previous five films – acting notwithstanding.
This is going to be magnificent.
