The first full trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders has emerged from the fabled superhero silo, and goddamn, it may just make Iron Fist somewhat palatable to a discerning Netflix audience.
Showing off the very good Daredevil, the great Luke Cage, the excellent Jessica Jones and the… well, the Iron Fist, the New York hero combo deal promises more of the gritty action-drama formula Marvel has patented over the past couple of years.
Also, SIGOURNEY FUCKING WEAVER.
You’ll be able to catch the team in action (read: in copious numbers of brutally excellent hallway fights) when the series arrives on August 18.
