Kim Kardashian West is in Australia right now as part of her Sisyphean promotional tour toward the grave.
J/k, this time round she’s here to promote her new perfume, Fleur Fatale. It’s her seventh, and it boasts notes of blackcurrant, bergamot, violet, peony, white musk, sandalwood and the gallons of baby oil that were required to lubricate last week’s Jean Paul Goude lensed PAPER shoot. You know the one – the one with Kim’s effervescent joie de vivre. That one.
ICYMI, that shoot last week became the entire cultural discourse, the chosen posterior of the Internet think piece machine and the subject of a parody editorial starring one half of the Bondi Hipsters, a goon sack and a mangina.
It would then seem the height of serendipity that last night Kim was spotted dining at Icebergs in Bondi, and that last month we sat down with the hirsute Bondi natives to talk the upside and the fallout of celebrity nude leaks, amongst other things.
Bondi Hipsters co-creators Christiaan Van Vuuren and Nick Boshier’s six-part TV series Soul Mates airs Wednesdays on ABC2 at 9:30pm; repeats air on Tuesdays on the same channel at 9:00pm.
