WATCH: T-Rex On Motorised Esky Cuts Max Laps ‘Round WA Mining Town

There’s some issues in the digi media biz that require a fair bit of editorialising in order to adequately tell the story properly.

This is absolutely not one of those.
Not even close.
You really don’t need to know much more, other than the fact that some absolute legend has been fanging around the streets of the remote WA mining town Tom Price (which, we know we’ve used the term liberally before, but this one really is in the middle of East Buttfuck Nowhere) on a motorised esky whilst wearing an inflatable Tyrannosaurus Rex costume.
That’s about it.

T-Rex runs rampage to cheer up NW town

The Tom Price T-Rex has been cheering up residents of the small Pilbara town for the past two weeks. The T-Rex, who is actually a female, said Tyrannosaurus Rexes were friendly and loved to dance and sing. Tom Price Police said the T-Rex had so far been a positive addition to the community.FULL STORY: http://yhoo.it/1TuhfXY

The T-Rex, Terrence, who is actually a she, has apparently been getting about the town for the past two weeks getting up to all sorts of mischief. So far she’s been spotted down at the local pub, attempting to eat the animal statues dotted about town, as well as doing a spot of shopping at Coles (although her short arms mean the self-serve checkouts are tricky to use).
Local police have been made aware of the situation, but have stated that the Rex has been a calm, positive influence on the town, as Senior Constable Alvin Taylor explained:

“Obviously Police are trained for all manner of situations. The report came in for a large lizard-type creature described as eight-foot tall with scaly skin and short arms.”

“You never know what is going to happen next.”

Isolation breeds strange creatures, ladies and gents.
