WATCH: Pixar Releases Military-Grade Cute Teaser For Upcoming Short “Piper”

Mostly famous for brutally killing off people in the first 10 minutes of their movies to make sure you’re emotionally invested, Pixar are also freakishly good at designing the most impossibly cute characters.

We all know Pixar has a huge team of psychologists working in a top secret underground bunker trying to figure out the best ways to emotionally devastate adults and ensnare children with large-eyed, precocious animals and people.
Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like anyone’s dying in their upcoming short “Piper” – at least there are no casualties in the teaser. The short will follow a tiny sandpiper (it’s a bird) as he does whatever birds do near the ocean, in probably the most adorable way physics allows.
It’s 24 seconds of pure goddamn joy, check it out:
It’s going to be shown before “Finding Dory“, so you can see it in theatres June 16th and either laugh or cry or both, depending on how those puppet masters pull your bloody strings.
