The ultimate Australian normie reality TV show (well, maybe except ‘Farmer Wants A Wife‘) is drawing to a close, and shit is getting pretty tense, so appropriately, they took the show to the ultimate Australian normie holiday destination: Bali.
All three of the remaining women got a tropical, Bintang-singlety date with Richie: Alex got a relaxing bike ride through some rice paddies, Olena got some extremely scenic surfing, and Nikki (lucky girl) got romantically and erratically launched into the air on a giant inflatable pool toy.
But it wasn’t all fun and games, Richie and Olena got into some pretty hectic D&Ms pretty quick after Richie asked what Olena’s mum thought of him and Olena didn’t do the normal, polite thing and totally lie.
Olena revealed that her mum is worried that Richie’s gonna break her heart (Olena’s, not Olena’s mum, that would be weird), and that her mum doesn’t want her moving to Perth – which seems like an extremely fair call because, duh, it’s Perth.
Things got even more awkward when Richie told Olena that he didn’t reckon she’s giving him enough for him to have faith in the relationship – again, can’t blame her, because she’s one of three women he’s sort of dating on a reality TV show. Olena concludes that maybe the whole thing is too much of a hassle.
Obviously, this does not bode well, and the rose ceremony goes exactly how you’d expect – except Richie doesn’t seem all that cut up about this one:
“Saying goodbye to Olena wasn’t that difficult, I want to be with a woman who’s gonna love me for me, and someone that’s gonna see challenges ahead and want to work and overcome them together.“I came on this wild ride to find love, and I now know without a doubt I’m gonna find it.”
