One does not simply get invited to an LGBT Pride event at the White House, drink the free booze, and eat the free hors d’oeuvres – before going on to heckle the hell out of the President of the United States. One simply does not.
During a speech for LGBT Pride Month, a heckle rang out through the crowd, before Obama reminded the heckler about where they were. “OK, you know what? No, no, no, no, no… Hey, you know what? You’re in my house.”
Damn straight. After the President’s security team took their sweet time to remove the person—seriously, Obama is standing there for a solid minute and a half, eyeballs doing a full 180 back into his head—and the crowd joined in some solid booing, Obama told the crowd,“As a general rule, I am just fine with a few hecklers, but not when I’m up in the House,” Obama said. “My attitude is if you’re eating the hors d’oeuvres, know what I’m saying, and drinking the booze… I know that’s right. Anyway.”
Which is, it should be said, partly true. Type “Obama” + “heckler” into YouTube? Over the years, Obama’s been absolutely inundated with them, as politicians often are.
