You’ve seen the still images, now watch the first moving pictures of Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly in forthcoming big screen biopic Grace Of Monaco. With Maria Callas’s “O, Mia Babbino Caro” providing an aptly serene soundtrack for the women known to her subjects as Her Serene Highness and the wonderfully rich, craggy voiceover of Kidman’s co-star Frank Langella, the teaser makes for a soothing viewing experience but doesn’t really show enough footage to vindicate Nicole in the Princess Grace role just yet.
Helmed by French director Olivier Dahan (La Vie en rose), Grace Of Monaco also stars Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi, Paz Vega, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Milo Ventimiglia and Tim Roth and is expected to land in theatres December 2013.
