Everyone who has ever worked in a retail store have unbreakable psychic bonds formed through the trauma of having to deal with shitty schedules, painful customers and terrible business processes.
This is all brutally lampooned in the new online series ‘Rostered On’, which covers a day in the life of Shaun (Paul Moore), an employee in a curiously Dick Smith-like electronics store named ‘Electroworld’.
We all know what it’s like. From store meetings at 8:50am when you don’t start getting paid till 9am, to managers who unload shifts onto you the moment they realise you’ve got a chill weekend coming up, it’s all a bit too real.
