If you happened to catch a pair of fit individuals pole dancing down by the water at Bondi Beach yesterday, you may or may not be surprised to learn that one of said individuals was actually My Kitchen Rules season six hopeful Lynzey Murphy.
Throughout her time on the show, Lynzey was largely overshadowed by her brisket-slinging dad Robert‘s collection of cowboy hats, bolo ties and farm animal-based anecdotes.
Yesterday was apparently her first crack at a doubles routine, and it looks like she nailed it. Her friend, pole dance instructor Michelle Shimmy, shared some of the highly limber results on Instagram:
Robert is currently appearing on Seven‘s Aussie BBQ Heroes, judging the cooking skills of teams like The Flamin’ Mongrels and The Natural Born Grillers (which kind of borderline makes us want to watch it, TBH).
If Seven ever spins MKR off into a rockin’ dadbod-based competition, he’ll probably be the first one they call for that, too:
