Lindsay Lohan, in her new role as ‘hot mess of a girl you used to know’, used the opening night of her new Athens nightclub to tell an entire room full of partygoers to STFU and pay attention to her.
In footage obtained by TMZ, Linds can be seen jumping up into the DJ booth at LOHAN (yes, it’s named after her), to try and make some kind of announcement.
“This is a really important thing, I just want everyone to know –” she began, but then realised that a club full of drunk people whose music you’ve just cut aren’t likely to quieten down. “Everyone shut the fuck up,” she yelled. “Jesus.”
When that didn’t work (shocker), Linds tried a combination of asking the crowd nicely / reasoning with them.
“No seriously, please, stop talking and just listen to me for a second,” she said. “I won’t speak until you stop.”
This was followed by an almighty “SHHHHHHH“, a few garbled sentences, and Linds losing her shit. “I’ll throw all of you out if you don’t shut the fuck up,” she yelled, visibly *UP TO HERE* with ungrateful punters.
According to TMZ, Linds at least stuck out the night, staying till 5am and hobnobbing with Greek business owners in the VIP section to make sure everything ran smoothly.
The place looked pretty packed out (TMZ reports 2,500 people):
But screaming at your patrons probably isn’t the *best* way to launch a new business, no?
