If you didn’t already love Technicolor cult favourite Lee Lin Chin, you will wholeheartedly after watching the first instalment on The Real Newsreaders of Sydney, which aired last night on SBS2‘s The Feed and this week takes its narrative cues from a rendezvous with Sandra Sully and Natalie Barr in Chin’s private “boozer” where – naturally – tensions escalate faster than you can steal a Walkley from a Stefanovic.

“Have you thrown boiling hot coffee on an intern?” asks Chin at one point, which seems like a roundabout way of asking the audience, ‘Have you ever seen shade thrown like this?’

Not likely. The Feed airs nightly at 7:30pm on SBS2.
