Looking back on the heartbreak, however, usually puts it all into perspective. There’s no denying that at the time it was the most harrowing thing you’ve experienced. But then you got over it. Like, really over it. You’re amazing. You’re incredible. You can’t even recall your ex’s name. You’re the fucking SHIT.

Devastation is replaced with a sense of “lol @ me” because there’s no denying how much of an embarrassingly hot mess you were pulling through the whole ordeal. Given that the show is written by Okine and Becky Lucas (Please Like Me), had its script produced by Greg Waters (Soul Mates, Dance Academy) and was directed by Kacie Anning (Fragments of Friday), y’all know that it’s gonna be a goodie.
