After Sydney’s newly anointed citizen Lady Gaga announced via twitter that she’d be hitting a couple of the city’s gay clubs last night, hysteria ensued. Literally thousands of people formed a mile-long line outside the clubs (NeverMind and ARQ) on Oxford Street and rioted upon her arrival.
Tasha Rossiter made it through the hordes to get in to Gaga’s appearance at Nevermind. She told Pedestrian “The show was amazing! She only performed Judas, Born This Way, and Edge of Glory but even just those 3 songs made the lengthy, hot, and tiring wait in ‘Nevermind’ all worth it. She performed the three hits so well. She sounded perfect live, her energy was incredible as expected, and she really spent the time to address the crowd and let us know how appreciative she was, and especially thanked the gays “for being so fucking gay” as she was made an honorary Sydneysider for her contributions to gay rights! She blew me away!!!!!” Tasha caught the gig from the very front row and captured these exclusive pics.
