The first trailer for Netflix’s Lady Gaga documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two is here, promising to show the pop cornerstone “fight like fucking hell” in the pursuit of musical perfection.
In a whirlwind minute-and-a-bit, director Chris Moukarbel shows the singer in the studio recording Joanne, navigating the maelstrom of Wal-Mart, and preparing for that massive Super Bowl halftime show.
The clip also shows Gaga – born Stefani Germanotta – receiving some serious-looking medical treatment. Moukarbel revealed the doco will delve into her struggle with chronic pain, showcasing an element of her life casual listeners may not have been privy to.
Gaga: Five Foot Two is set to stream from September 22.
