Watch Kit Harrington Smoulder In New Trailer For Pompeii

For anyone even vaguely interested in history, attractive young actors, CG out the wazoo and the Paul WS Anderson school of film, it’s time to get excited. An official trailer has been released for Pompeii – the motion picture event of the AD. The film stars Kit Harrington, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kiefer Sutherland, Carrie-Anne Moss, Emily Browning, Jared Harris and Jessica Lucas.
And ohnoe JawnSnu is shirtless and wicked buff in it and I tripped and resized a .jpeg of him and uploaded it…

As Slash puts it “At this point you probably have a pretty good handle on the style of a Paul WS Anderson movie — he turns out one b-movie after another that use affordable effects, attractive stars and genre concepts to lure in audiences. And the audiences always seem to show up, making Anderson one of the more reliable directors from a business perspective.”

Meanwhile, the actual historical city of Pompeii continues to crumble and be ill-treated / underfunded by the Italian government. To which the world replies: srsly get your shit together guys because there is still a lot of it underground and we want to see all the cool shit still hiding under hundreds of years worth of volcano gunk but would also like you to pls look after it properly.

Anyway, the film synopsis: Set in 79 A.D., POMPEII tells the epic story of Milo, a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts in a torrent of blazing lava, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.
Or, in pictures:

10/10 would resort here were I a wealthy ancient Roman.

Live fast / Die young / Gladiators do it well.

This will really put a burning-death hell-fire damper on things…

We Found Love In A Hopeless Place.

*Spoiler Alert*

The film is set to be released February 21st, 2014 in the US. Watch the full trailer here:
