It’s the 30th anniversary of Top Gun today, so it’s high time you cracked out your Aviators and warmed up for an encore performance of ‘Danger Zone’ during your lunchbreak.
Because Australian breakfast television has it’s own special way of celebrating milestones – especially when Karl Stefanovic is involved – obviously the only way for TODAY to celebrate was to lather themselves in spray tan and play volleyball in the studio. That’s how these things are done now, in 2016.
Look, they don’t have the cut musculature of Tom Cruise, but Karl and Timmy do an admirable effort for two old blokes wearing way too much spray tan. It’s what Tom would have wanted.
