WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel’s Fake Yeezy Boosts Get Sneaker Fans Frothing

This week, Adidas and Kanye West unveiled the Yeezy Boost 350 Infant, a line of miniature sneakers aimed at the apparently very lucrative toddler demographic.
“Finally, infants and toddlers will be able to coordinate Yeezy looks with their style-forward parents,” said Adidas in what was clearly one of the best press releases of all time. Of all time.
The shoes come in six sizes and two colours – turtle dove and pirate black – and will retail for a cool $US130. The press release also notes that they feature rubber soles “for traction”, because what you want out of a Kanye-designed baby shoe is practicality.
Overnight, Jimmy Kimmel proudly presented the debut of Kanye’s other new sneaker line, Yeezy Boost 1150s. They’re chic, they’re fashion-forward … and they cost thirteen bucks (plus shipping, without a box) on eBay.
Despite the fact that these particular kicks have nothing whatsoever to do with Kanye, Kimmel took the new Yeezy Boosts to the streets, and managed to get people frothing over them anyway. Enjoy:
