Troublemaker Sarah Silverman caused a stir when she showed up wildly unprepared for a red carpet interview at last week’s Emmy Awards, and showed off her weed vaporiser pen to baffled host Giuliana Rancic.
Overnight, the comedian went on Jimmy Kimmel in an attempt to explain herself – she says she didn’t know there would be a “clutch cam” on the red carpet, and is surprised that the story became such a “bananas big deal.”
Silverman then graciously submitted to a bag search, allowing Kimmel to uncover some of the other secrets she keeps stashed in her clutch, and it was indeed illuminating.
