WATCH: Jim Jefferies Introduces The US To Our Pride And Joy, Pauline Hanson

In all honesty, comparing One Nation leader Pauline Hanson to US President Donald Trump is a wee bit of a stretch. While it’s possible to trace Hanson’s consistently terrified ideologies to the start of her political career, Trump has always seemed much more willing to blurt out whatever it takes to get attention.

Of course, when you’re hosting a late-night show segment called Trumps Around The World, those subtleties get lost in the shuffle. Besides, as infamous Aussie comic Jim Jefferies has demonstrated on his new Comedy Central gig, those differences seem minuscule when both parties advocate banning Muslims from entering their respective nations.
For his new bit on the equally new The Jim Jefferies Show, the eponymous host sat down with Hanson to provide his American viewers with a glimpse of what we have to deal with, and she didn’t exactly water down her bile for her newfound audience.
With choice cuts including the admission that Islam is something that should be “vaccinated” against, and the baseless accusation that violent crime is skyrocketing across Australia, Hanson’s viewpoint was summed up for viewers in one digestible sound bite: “our society has changed, and it’s not for the better.”

Jefferies agreed with the first part of that claim, but not the second. According to him, “all around the world, refugees are moving to new countries, settling down, and fucking up the way white people like things done.”

After veering into a critique of issues facing Japan’s comparatively insular society – and, look, what amounts to a pretty sexist discussion about Hanson’s legs – we imagine American viewers may have received a pretty decent five-minute introduction to Australia’s most controversial pollie.

Is she another Trump? Nah, but howling xenophobia is the same the world over. Catch a short look at the discussion below, or the entire clip, right HERE.
