WATCH: James Blunt’s Latest Career Move Is Air-Fucking With A Big Metal Rod

James Blunt is an odd one: on one day he’s signing on to deliver his gentle coo to your mum via Smooth FM, the next he’s thrusting his giant metallic codpiece into the sky. 

For the latest confusing but genuinely entertaining deviation from his mid-2000s role as a vanilla pop muso, Blunt took to the set of British panel show Celebrity Juice. It was there he was tasked with… Well.

While it looks like a performance from that one episode of Black Mirror, Blunt was apparently tasked with smacking his pole into the crossbar for the glory of his team.

We are not currently aware of the purpose of this endeavour, but fuck, he put his back into it.

Of course, this is not the first time anyone has strapped a rod to their crotch and swung for the stars. The whole schtick was based on a performance by the dance company of Marie Chounaird, which went viral a while back for quite obvious reasons.
