Swear jars. A functional method of curtailing ye olde potty mouth in locales where verbal profanity is frowned upon – and, as it turns out, a rather effective means of collecting money for charity in short spaces of time.
With Conan in San Diego for Comic Con, the cast of the Hunger Games – Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson – stopped by the show to pimp out the upcoming Mockingjay Part 2, which y’all are positively going batshit for by the by.
J-Law – aside from being the shimmer angel that she is – is well known around the traps for her affection for sailor talk. So much so that a swear jar was instituted on the set of Mockingjay to keep offending statements out of the ears of the film’s younger cast members.
Turning that shit around, Conan put that particular set of skills to good use, challenging Lawrence to swear as much as possible in 30 seconds – each verbal bomb earning $100 for charity.
‘Course this being broadcast TV and all, it’s naught but a myriad of bleeps. But honestly, sometimes that’s way funnier than the actual words themselves.
