Some concepts just sell them-bloody-selves, y’know?
In between filming seasons of Broad City, turns out Ilana Glazer and Paul W. Downs have gone back to a familiar well, adapting an old comedy short the pair shot together into its own fully-fledged mini-series.
The show, Time Traveling Bong, is exactly what it sounds like.
Glazer and Downs play Sharee and Jeff, a pair of cousins who discover a bong that has the ability to send the smoker back in time. The bong breaks, and the pair have to bounce around various historical periods hoping to strike it lucky and land back in their own year.
Comedy Central put out the first trailer for the 3-part series, and it looks utterly freaking ridiculous.
There ain’t much more selling that we need to do for this. The vision says it all.
