You guys absolutely lost your shit when we told you 1) an ‘Adventure Time‘ live show was coming to Australia (FUCK YEAH!) and 2) the actual show ‘Adventure Time’ was ending (boooooooooooooo). YOU ALL BLOODY LOST IT.
So now, to save your still-beating broken hearts RE: the demise of your fave show, we have some good news.
A new miniseries is happening, called ‘Adventure Time: Islands’.
It’s only eight episodes long, and will air on Cartoon Network in the US from January 30 to February 2 – but the whole 8 eps will be released on DVD and on demand on January 24.
According to a press release, Jake and Finn will travel to “the Land of Ooo to embark on a quest of epic proportions across the ocean and into new lands”.
But one of the coolest fucking things is that the miniseries will address one of the most-commonly asked questions about the show:
“What happened to the humans?”

For all the book-learners (*raises hand*) you might be interested to know that an ‘Adventure Time: Islands’ original graphic novel is also coming out.
