Kevin Costner who co-starred with Houston in The Bodyguard gave a genuinely moving and sincere tribute to “the sweet miracle that is Whitney”.

Stevie Wonder performed a rendition of “Ribbon In The Sky” with changed lyrics to reflect Houston’s life and her voice.

Alicia Keys performed a beautiful version of “Send Me An Angel”.

R. Kelly did an emotional version of Houston’s own single “I Look To You”.

Gospel singer Kim Burrell brought the house down with an incredible version of Sam Cooke’s classic “A Change Is Gonna Come”.

Meanwhile, Chris Cornell, who was playing at an Obama rally in San Francisco, performed an acoustic cover of “I Will Always Love You” in tribute to the late singer.
