The trailer for season five of Netflix’s foundational hit features Kevin Spacey’s President Underwood leering, lurking, throttling and smirking, with Robin Wright’s equally ruthless First Lady Claire Underwood seemingly happy to oblige.
The trailer hints at all kinds of goodness: will Hammerschmidt finally nail Frank with his reporting on the Prez’ pitch-black past? Will anyone be able to work through the couple’s insidious politicking? Will they rewrite the bloody Constitution to allow “Underwood 2036” and an endless presidential reign?
