When it was revealed that Darren Aronofsky, director of movies like ‘Requiem for a Dream‘ and ‘Black Swan‘ was making one of those flicks where some scary shit starts to happen to attractive people minding their own business in a big old house, you could guess that there was likely going to be more than meets the eye.
And yep, the new full trailer for ‘Mother!‘ confirms that audiences are going to be treated to some seriously weird and creepy shit. It stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple who are obviously going through something in their relationship, and decided that a move out to the country to live in a massive spooky old house by themselves is the best way to fix things. Have these people never seen horror movies?
Predictably, they start to get unexpected visitors (including Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris), and then a terrifying adventure begins to unfold. But as this is an Aronofsky flick, you can bet that nothing about the movie will actually be predictable at bloody all. Strap in.
