Arguably the most badass Harry Potter alumni (Rupert, where are you? are you okay?) Emma Watson has delivered a stirring speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Friday, as part of her duties as the UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador.

Following up from her truly A+ address to the United Nations last September, Watson spoke in Davos yesterday to encourage continued support for the HeForShe campaign – a cause that “brings together one half of humanity in support of the other half of humanity, for the benefit of all” (AKA, a bloody stellar movement).

Watson spoke at the conference to report on the campaign’s success since it launched last September, citing cases of personal triumphs and widespread progress, while also stating that the good fight is far from over, as the potential of women around the world is “astonishingly untapped.”

Watson’s speech also introduced a new initiative, Impact 10x10x10, designed to reach out to groups such as schools, universities, businesses and governments.

Honestly, E.W. Killing it.
