WILD, amirite? However, if you haven’t read the book you’re probably justifiably thinking to yourself, “Da fuq did I just watch?”

Here’s some background info to get ‘ya around the suspense-thriller:

Blunt plays a divorced alcoholic in London who’s so lonely that she spies on a 10/10 babin’ couple, daydreaming about what their lives entail. As y’may have guessed, that kind of behaviour ain’t exactly healthy, so it sends her down a pretty dark and royally fucked-up path, making her question whether or not she had something to do with one of their disappearances.

It’s forecasted to be one of Blunt’s most promising roles yet, and she’s joined be a stellar cast including Luke Evans, Hayley Bennett, Rebecca Ferguson, Laura Prepon, Edgar Ramirez, Justin Theroux, Allison Janney and Lisa Kudrow.

An Australian release date is yet to be announced, but it hits US cinemas on October 7.

If you’re one of those “I wanna read the book first” people, ‘ya better get cracking.
