Zombies. They’re a bloody pain in the arse, I tell you what.
Whilst just about every zombie-themed film or TV show has centred around what might happen to a bunch of super serious people trying to survive in a world where society has died (humour too, apparently), not many – if any – have taken a look at how a laconic Australian attitude would deal with the apocalypse.
Fortunately, you can worry no more.
Showing the rest of the world exactly what the Australian “version” of The Walking Dead looks like, one intrepid YouTuber has overdubbed footage from the hit AMC show with Australian dialogue that focuses solely on the most important assets for an Aussie navigating dystopia: booze, smokes, and whether or not the servo’s open.
It’s probably prudent to note that the video is chock-a-block full of swears and the like. But truth be told anything less would’ve been unAustralian.
Who needs migration and vicious in-fighting when you can snap the top off a cold one inside your fortified base? Honestly.
