WATCH: Aunty Donna’s ‘1999’ Series Keeps Charging Headlong Into Insanity

The Aunty Donna train. Get on board, quickly, or get left behind. Because that caboose is puffing smoke and about to leave the station.
The hyper-funny three-piece Melbourne-based sketch comedy troupe are nearing the end of their largely sold-out, critically acclaimed run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (we managed to catch their show, and it was glorious).
But don’t think for a second that smashing a packed room full of laughing people every night means they’ve neglected their YouTube bread-and-butter.
The group’s Screen Australia-funded 1999 series continues to pump out episodes on a weekly basis, and the latest one is up there with the best of ’em.
Unleashing Broden Kelly‘s long-dormant character Manbeast back unto the world (or, at least, an unsuspecting office circa-the year 1999), the Donnas typically batshit nuts comedy is vividly on display, for all the world to bask in its grandeur.
WATCH. WATCH AND TREMBLE AT HIS MIGHT.

Poor old Manbost. Never getting the quiet, dignity, or the respect that he deserves.
After MICF, Aunty Donna is heading out on tour around the country (and even hitting up New Zealand). Czech their website for dates.
