You can thank Entertainment Weekly, Good Morning America and a recent trend toward an increased amount of 90s reunions taking place for this one. As part of a series of “incredible all-star reunion blow outs” the cast of Clueless have been reunited 17 years after Amy Heckerling’s iconic comedy, like, made the 90s.
Alicia Silverstone, Stacey ‘Dorian Grey’ Dash, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Elisa Donovan, Twink Caplan and Justin Walker were all in attendance to discuss their favourite one-liners and outfits, how the movie made their careers and the sad Brittany Murphy shaped hole in the reunion. Paul Rudd was presumably too busy/famous to attend. Notice the way they’re sitting together? Legs crossed towards each other. That is an unequivocal sex invite.
Unfortunately, no reference was made to the fact that Cher now feeds her child like a bird (pre-chewed food regurgitated into its mouth – yum!) or that Heckerling has basically remade clueless but with vampires and The Bitch From Apartment 23. Relevant. It’s called Vamps, it looks way harsh and you can watch the trailer below.
