The Spike Jonze-directed video for Kanye‘s ‘Flashing Lights’ features a Mustang rolling into the twilit desert outside of Las Vegas, before a model in a fur coat and a wig exits the vehicle and engages in a number of shocking acts.
Grand Theft Auto V, released five years later, shares a somewhat similar aesthetic, so it only made sense to bring the two of them together, so now, the good people at I Can’t Even Productions have done just that.
The above tribute video is an amazingly faithful recreation of the original, albeit with a slightly more fiery ending, featuring the favourite weapon of many GTA players. The Jonze original is posted below for comparison:
