Humans Of New York, which shares photos of everyday people accompanied by inspirational quotes, has more Facebook fans than there are actual people in New York City, although it’s safe to say that comedian Tyler Fischer is not one of them.
Fischer recently took to the streets of NYC posing as photographer Brandon Stanton, taking blurry, close-up shots of Humans fans with a DSLR camera, and encouraging them to lie about their life stories to get more likes on Facebook.
Brandon Stanton, who is presently taking his blog on a world tour, enjoyed the video enough that he shared it on his page, however, many fans have reacted to the prank with deep dismay and disapproval.
