Vince Gilligan Pleads With Fans To Quit Throwing Pizza On Walter White’s Roof

It’s been far too long a while since Walter White and ‘Breaking Bad‘ evaporated from our lives of weekly stress-viewing, and no matter how great ‘Better Call Saul’, Los Pollos Hermanos tshirts and announcing, “I am the one who knocks,” every time you approach a door all are, nothing can ever quite fill the hole in your heart that was seized mercilessly by Vince Gilligan‘s knack for reeling you in hook line and sinker with impeccable TV drama. Breaking Bad is gone, long live Breaking Bad.

The clinical depression that follows the end of ‘Breaking Bad’ can then, one might suppose, be only cured by reenacting one of Breaking Bad’s greatest scenes, asking WWWWD? and venting your frustration in the way only Heisenberg would:

Which fans are doing in reckless abandon, apparently. In a podcast tie-in for ‘Better Call Saul’, Vince Gilligan brought up the real-life issue Albuquerque residents on the ‘Breaking Bad’ tour trail face on the daily, especially the elderly couple of Chez White: “They’re throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that. Let me tell you: There is nothing funny or original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady’s roof. It is just not funny. It’s been done before. You’re not the first.”

Jonathan Banks, AKA Mike, added, “And if I catch you doing it, I will hunt you down.” You heard the man.
