Victorian Hospital Cops A Late Night Visit From A Curious Koala

If you’re looking for a hospital that doesn’t just provide the bear necessities, look no further than Hamilton Base Hospital in Victoria’s west.

The Emergency Department had themselves a wee little visitor in the early hours of the morning back on April the 20th, when a curious little Koala decided to pop into the ED for a bit of a look around.
The inquisitive little guy nosed his way into treeage through an automatic door at around 3:30am, and had himself a good old fashioned sticky beak.
Having successfully scoped the place out, the little guy turned and decided to leaf after about a minute.

You never know who’s going to stroll through the doors at the Hamilton Base Hospital. Our very own Blinky Bill pays a visit to the ED waiting room.

The staff were largely unaware of the visit, with the Koala not making it into any secure areas of the hospital. The waiting room was unoccupied at the time.

Possibly due to some solid Eucalyptus Insurance, the koala’s expenses made no one’s eyes blinky, and the bill was as such kept to a minimum.
