Here’s Your First Look At ‘UnReal’ S4 & Holy Shit, It’s Something Else Entirely

Okay, FULL DISCLOSURE: I haven’t finished UnReal Season 3 yet. It’s very, very high on the list, especially now that the Season 4 promo has absolutely goddamn slayed me.

I don’t think you’re ready for this very messy jelly. And can confirm that if you haven’t finished S3 yet either, then this isn’t much of a spoiler. You deserve to watch this promo as soon as humanely possible.

In an unusual turn of events, Lifetime have released the promo for Season 4 already, and just… I don’t know how to tell you this… but Rachel [Shiri Appleby] is the suitress.

RIP ALL OF US FOREVER.

Also, she’s BLONDE, which shouldn’t feel as big a deal as it it but wow. Rachel, all dolled up, manipulating from behind the scenes and in front of the cameras. Honestly just hook this season right into my veins, I need it to consume me.

It also looks like August [Adam Demos] is still around and still making googly eyes at Rachel. A contestant sticking around for another season is a first here. Possible Rachel suitor? Fingers crossed, tbh. [And Adam hinted to us that he was sticking around further than S3 when we spoke to him earlier this year.]

UPDATE: Okay, with a little more digging – and some strong spoiler avoiding – it appears that next season of UnReal will be doing a Bachelor In Paradise-style season of Everlasting. Called Everlasting All Stars, it’ll pit previous contestants against each other, which means we could be seeing people from all three seasons so far involved.

Speaking to Vulture, showrunner Stacy Rukeyser said:

It’s actually Everlasting All Stars. I wish it was in paradise because that would have meant we could film someplace like Fiji, but it’s not. It’s in the same mansion, but it’s Everlasting All Stars. We have some of the characters coming back. I don’t think this is a secret because it’s been on social media — August is coming back, Alexi is coming back. And some people that I don’t want to say, but people from previous seasons.

I don’t want to spoil all of that. With Everlasting All Stars, it’s a little bit of a different format. The challenge is more of like a Survivor-type challenge — some are physical, some are mental, people are fighting against each other every episode. It’s all about couples, too. In the elimination ceremony, you’re choosing who you want to be with that night, and they all do actually spend the night together. So you’re coupled up at the end of each episode, basically.

So Rachel is a suitress, but not *the* suitress. Still, insanely cool areas.

The bad news is you’ll have to wait a whole freaking while for UnReal S4, which is expected some time in 2019. The good news is that the entirety of S3 is on Stan right the hell now, if you need to catch up / rewatch.

We also had a chat to Constance Zimmer – who plays badass boss bitch Quinn – earlier this year, and are pleased to report that she is nothing like Quinn except for a filthy sense of humour.

She’s not here to fuck spiders.
