Uniqlo is Opening More Australian Stores

Lovers of affordable, casual fashion, take note – Japanese clothing giant Uniqlo is expanding further into Australia. They opened their first Aussie store across four levels of Melbourne‘s Emporium in April, and announced plans for a store on Sydney‘s Pitt Street in May.
Ragtrader report that there are now plans for two additional Australian stores. The first of these will be in Sydney, at the redeveloped Macquarie Centre, which will open with the full Spring / Summer 2014 collection, including a large range of linen and polos.
The second will be in Victoria, at Chadstone Shopping Centre. Uniqlo Australia CEO Shoichi Miyasaka says that the company is committed to growing its brand here, and “from what we’ve seen so far, Australians have responded really well to our offering.”
The Macquarie Centre, currently undergoing a $400m upgrade, will also include a H&M.
