Twin Peaks DVD Set To Include 90 Minutes Of Unseen Footage

Attention Twin Peaks fans!
For those not yet familiar with the unravelling small town whodunnit spiral of the surreal David Lynch/Mark Frost TV drama series that started like a boilerplate murder procedural and ended like The X-Files on a four day peyote binge (and also had the best use of music in a television series ever), Twin Peaks follows what happens when a quaint small town is rocked by the murder of homecoming queen, Laura Palmer.
But wait…there’s more. A ten disc DVD box set with previously unseen footage (almost 90 minutes’ worth) will be available to purchase in June.
Rendered in High Definition Blu-ray with English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, the comprehensive DVD collection contains every episode from the complete television series including both the U.S. and international versions of the pilot;  a Blu-ray of Lynch’s follow-up feature film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and nearly 90 minutes of deleted and alternate scenes from that film.
Other special features include newly transferred Log Lady introductions for each episode, picture upgrades to many shots in the TV series, a new featurette with Lynch and the actors who portrayed the Palmer family and hours of never before seen bonus material.
“During the last days in the life of Laura Palmer many things happened, which have never been seen before,” David Lynch said. “They’re here now alongside the new transfer of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Twin Peaks, the television series.”

The set will be available to purchase exclusively from JB Hi Fi from July 29.
