Troye Sivan Tackles LGBT Youth Suicide In Heartbreaking End To Video Series

If you didn’t catch it, the musical angel known as Troye Sivan has been tackling coming out / coming of age ~ feels ~ in a music video trilogy called the “Blue Neighbourhood”.

They tell the heartbreaking but all-too-common story of childhood m8s who, as they grow up, realise they’re in love with each other. Because society is fucked, the pair’s homosexuality sees them shunned by family and friends, and ultimately leads to the death of Troye’s young love in “Talk Me Down”, the just-released series conclusion.
If you can get through the whole thing without shedding a few tears for the state of the world, and a country that *still* doesn’t recognise gay marriage, then you’re made of stronger stuff than us.
[Missed the first two vids? You might wanna watch PART 1, “Wild”, and PART 2, “Fools” before the below for the full impact].

YouTube extraordinaire Troye, 20, famously came out to his 3.5 million fans in 2013 (his loved ones have known for years) and has been using his epic profile to help raise awareness for the plight of young people struggling with their sexuality.
