That distant screaming you hear right now is me, actually literally screaming at the news that RuPaul’s Drag Race faves Trixie and Katya are getting the old band back together, and bringing their iconic web series UNHhhh back for an all new season!
The two made the announcement after reuniting for a panel at RuPaul’s DragCon NYC. New episodes of the show will premiere on the premium subscription service Wow Presents Plus, starting October 17, before arriving on WOW‘s YouTube channel a week later.
UNHhhh ran for two seasons between 2016 and 2017, and featured the beloved pair talking about “whatever we want – because it’s our show and not yours.” The show was also notable for Katya’s single-minded obsession with the Jodie Foster movie Contact.
After the breakout success of the series, the pair transferred their skills to TV, where they presented The Trixie and Katya Show on Viceland. Their DragCon panel represents the first time the pair have gotten back together since early 2018.
During that time, Katya took a break from drag to work on her mental health and overall well-being, while Trixie took out the crown in Drag Race All Stars 3, beating out finalists Shangela, Kennedy Davenport and Bebe Zahara Benet.
