Earlier today, Jordyn Woods gave a tell-all interview explaining her side of the Tristan Thompson cheating story, and social media basically imploded, then things went full neutron star when Khloe Kardashian responded, essentially calling Woods a homewrecker.
Reactions so far have been fairly savage, but if there’s a prevailing narrative that’s emerging – and fuck me, it’s too early on a Saturday morning to be using words like ‘prevailing narrative’, but please just go with me here – it’s that Khloe is not placing enough responsibility on Tristan himself.
The story so far, in case you missed it, is that the Kardashian family banished Kylie Jenner‘s former BFF Jordyn Woods from their ranks after she allegedly got hot and heavy with Thompson at a party. When giving her account of things, she insisted it was only a kiss:

Khloe quickly fired back, accusing Woods of lying, saying she should have called her to apologise and adding “you ARE the reason my family broke up!”
Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!

After this, many people on Twitter began to question why Jordyn has and continues to be the focus of the Kardashian family’s and Khloe’s rage, when Tristan Thompson has cheated openly in the past, and he certainly played a part in all of this.
“Hate to be that person, but why is Khloe placing so much blame on Jordyn and directing her anger towards her vs the man who had an obligation to be faithful in his relationship with her? IDK, I just hate seeing all the blame thrown on her,” wrote one observer on Twitter.

Another pointed out that Jordyn has been shamed and sexually harassed following the incident, while Tristan has experienced hardly any backlash. “Misogyny in action,” she wrote.

After her initial Tweet, which has gotten a lot more attention, Khloe Kardashian actually made a second one in which she says she also blames Tristan Thompson, the father of her child, for his infidelity, but that they have addressed the situation privately:
Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired,then yes I would address him publicly as well
