Even if you don’t actually know Tricky, you know Tricky. The former Mr. Massive Attack has done pretty well striking out on his own, having released 9 albums all by himself and managing to be shrouded in a huge cloud of smoke on the cover of nearly every single one. The gruff-voiced, occasional-dress-wearing, Kingston-via-UK Council Flats trip-hop pioneer returns to Australia to (presumably) drop some tracks from his latest, Mixed Race, or at the very least, drop some dancefloor destroyers while you’re not paying attention. This time he returns with a full band and his latest chanteuse, Francesca Belmont. His live shows are legendary and he’s not around often, so get a slice of the past and the present and get yourself down there.
