Trailer: Page One Inside The New York Times

Like R.J. Cutler’s Vogue documentary The September Issue, Page One: Inside The New York Times provides unprecedented access to one of the most famous publications in the world. Filmed over a year in and around the hallowed halls of the New York Times newsroom, filmmaker Andrew Rossi explores larger media issues such as the wikileaks saga, the effectiveness of paywalls and the purported death of print (again) by following the day-to-day of some charismatic NYT staffers. We’re particularly fond of NYT media reporter David Carr who provides the likeable no-nonsense veteran we first saw in Vogue’s Grace Coddington. Maybe every media company needs one? The film premiered in Sundance earlier this year and is slated for release in June. Check out the trailer below…
