HBO has revealed a trailer for its forthcoming comedy series Girls which is about the experiences of a group of girls in their early 20’s including a wry editorial intern played by the show’s creator, writer and all ’round prodigy Lena Dunham. The show looks like it has the kind of naughty content (anal sex jokes!) afforded to premium cable programming, great dialogue and Gen-Y reference points (twitter!) – and with Judd “Bridesmaids” Apatow on board as executive producer it’s probably very funny. Girls premieres in the US in April 2012.
