Comedy nerds, rejoice! Larry David and Jon Hamm have set their phasers to ‘Default’ [‘Crotchety’ and ‘Charming Entrepreneurial Jackass’ respectively] in the first full-length trailer for the former’s HBO film ‘Clear History‘.
The premise is simple: Hamm invents a billion dollar smart car, which he names ‘The Howard’; David wants nothing to do with ‘The Howard’ and sells his stake in the company, retiring to a Massachusetts island to reinvent himself [shave]; Hamm retires to the same island; Revenge-style plots ensue, sans bandage dresses.
‘Clear History‘ also stars Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Amy Ryan and Michael Keaton, and premieres on HBO August 10th; meaning you should be able to watch it from around August 11th – history as clear as your conscience.
