Tourism Queensland Endorses Gold Coast Set Jersey Shore Spinoff

In a move which makes a disturbing amount of sense for every party involved, stars of MTV reality show and anti-douche PSA Jersey Shore have lobbied for an international season set in Australia. Cast members were asked where they would like to visit after completing the show’s fourth season in Italy and two suggested a trip Down Under to conclude the show’s sixth and final season.

Ronnie “worst boyfriend ever” Ortiz-Magro endorsed Australia “because I want to go there and experience the culture and I hear that it’s really big, the show over there, so I’d like to see the feedback we get,”

While Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino offered a more transparent reason saying “All the girls in Australia are hot.”

Representatives from the most Jersey apropos location in Australia have since expressed interest in the idea with a spokeswoman from Tourism Queensland saying “We would welcome any interest and discussions…Obviously the Gold Coast is Australia’s playground, there’s theme parks, hanging out with lifesavers – the Gold Coast also has a very vibrant nightlife,”

Other things the Gold Coast has? Gyms, tanning salons and laundries.

Get on it MTV.
